I think the movie was made sometime between 1998-2008. It has a male main character, there are humans and demons or magical creatures living in the regular world, but humans cant look them. I think the main character is some type of enforcer of human demon interaction. I remember some hospital for the magic creatures and he came to check up on them. close the end he ends up fighting some sort of powered up mecha suit? or energy suit monster. Please help me I have no idea what the title is. I believe the film is either japanese made or chinese made. It has english voices and I saw it on hbo or starz or cinemax, one of the tv movie channels. I saw it in 2006, 2007, or 2008, I dont quite remember. Hopefully this is enough information...

Isnt it illegal to film people without them knowing it, and especially to air it on national tv? How could the police be in on it? Do the United States have laws against entrapment?

I do not remember much detail, but I'll try to give the maximum.
I remember one lady who was held captive by an old lady. She would not let the needy girl alone no second, nor to go to the bathroom. I remember this girl had long hair, black and curly. I remember onescene where she's in the tub and the old're around. Then she says she will need to use the toilet for that the old lady let alone for a minute. The old leaves, and she seizes the moment to pick up a pair of scissors.Then the old lady and she is back in the tub with the scissors hidden. But before she can kill the old, she sees and takes the scissors from her saying: "I already know what you want" and then clip her hair.
I also remember another scene where she tries to open the bedroom door where it is kept in captivity, andbreak the nail then the nail starts crying.
Well, that's every I remember. I think this film is of 90 years, but not sure.
Note: not the movie Flowers in the Attic, because there are no kids in this movie, the plot revolves around this lady being held captive, she had no kids. I do not know how the plot was not seenbecause the film's beginning, when I turned on the TV movie was in the middle, and I do not remember howwas the end. Maybe the plot is about a kidnapping, since this lady lived in captivity.

Basically, Ive left school, went college, it wasnt for me doing a levels, so i started an apprenticehip up London in office admin, which also wasnt for me. I have the brains, but anything like office stuff doesnt interest me one bit! Im more creative. My passion is really Media, id adore to be backstage, tv producer, tv directer, film etcetc... But its so difficult to receive into and I wouldnt know how to go about it!! My mum thinks I should be a Maths Primary School teacher which I would like to do but I'm always going to want to do Media.. HELP! i have no patience. I hate stories. I don't even have the patience to watch TV or watch movies anymore. And reading's even worse.
When I was little I didn't mind stories but now I have the SHORTEST attention span.
I'd rather hear to music and browse the Internet looking up random things than sit down and watch a story drug out.
Even in film class, we literally sit there and the teacher plays a movie and I'll just stare at the screen but I won't be following the story at every. i'll be thinking about random things and i won't pay attention.
I think this is a serious problem, because I have to read for English class and I hate it!
i just want to hear to dance around to my IPod every day. HELP! What do I do? Is this normal or is it a problem?

I just bought a Samsung 40" 1080p 120hz lcd LN40D630M3. I was watching my blu-ray disc and i saw some jittering in the film (this didnt happen with my 720p 60hz samsung) so i checked info on my remote and it say 1080p 60Hz. How do i make it 120hz? Also when im watching cable (comcast hd) and i hit in for its saying 720p 20hz????
so another words my tv is not 120hz and i got screwed?

I wanted to ask the soundtrack and/or anime experts if they could tell me the name of the track from the film "Lupin the 3rd: The Mystery Of Mamo", which is used in the beginning castle scene of the film where Zenigata chases Lupin up the stairwell. I've also heard this track in numerous episodes of the "Second TV Series", most notably used at the beginning of episode #61: The Flying Zantetsuken/The Yam Is Mightier Than the Sword. I DO NOT understand the purpose of these "reality tv program's"; for example, The Only Way is Essex, Made in Chelsea, Desperate Scousewives, that type of program. They're not acting, or portraying characters but they are given a slight pre-template of a scene? *confused to hell face* They have simply got a production team and made a documentary/day-to-day lifestyle of a particular area, about nothing special other than these people have disposable cash; where in our lives have we needed this drivel? Can a production team locate themselves in my tiny village in the UK and do the same here?
I'm going crazy here; what are they actually for, except making money?! Is it just a side-effect of these meaningless, unhealthy, factually wrong glossy magazines and this "celebrity" life? This really drives me mad to look these nobodies do this and every of a sudden apparently we have to respect, make room and look at these people as though they deserve any publicity, FOR WHAT?
Why does anybody with a life, need to know how these people live their lives?
Mario Falcone is the latest nobody to be brought to my attention, with the only thing making him a "celebrity" is the fact he lives in Essex. I'm sure he has a job doing something, but do I need to know about it? No! ..................I am beyond confused about these people being nationally/globally known for no reason.
I don't like the word "celebrity" because it means nothing; when does a gypsy, a regular audience member of a chat show or a footballers wife become a "celebrity"? The way I look at this is to scrap the word "celebrity", anything associated and anybody classed as one, use only the word "famous" and only publicise people who have a talent in their industry, for example, world renowned talents like a sports person, real musicians and actors/actresses (not pretty faces to make money; product/brand individual), music/film producers and directors, writers, authors, inventors, entrepreneurs, artists, designers, scientists, political people, cook's.........
It's as though anybody nowadays can be labeled and a "celebrity", and even a career choice nowadays is to be famous, where is the clip off point? A lot of people are forgetting, in order to work in these industries, fame should technically be the last stage.
Who agrees that this world needs to have a clear out of rubbish, to respect the real worthwhile talents of our world?

I know there have been diners in the past – my Mum recalls a place in our town which sounded not unlike the Dairy Queen in North America, but these places every seem to have disappeared.
Yet in America, they seem as much a part of their nation as baseball caps and burgers, peanut butter and apple pie.
They’ve been featured in films or even been the focus of them, like “Alice”, “Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle cease Café”, “Back to the Future”, and even “Diner” – although I turned that last one off after the first 10 mins. proved boring!
And even today they still feature in TV shows, from “Al’s” place in glad Days, through to the beachfront diner frequented by the four main kids in The O.C.
But why haven’t they thrived over here?
I must admit, perhaps it’s through a misplaced nostalgia for the experiences I feel I missed out on as a teenager, but I can’t help feel it would have been great to have had somewhere like that to hang out with my friends growing up; and maybe if there were more places like that now, there’d be less young people causing trouble on our streets – certainly they wouldn’t have as much reason to say “We only do it ‘cos there’s nowhere to go and nothing to do.” Mind you, there weren’t many places my friends and I could go when we were young, but we didn’t cause trouble!
So given the similarities between the British and North American cultures, why haven’t diners flourished here in the UK?

Its a non disney cinderella I think it was for the tv
The sisters are fat and ugly
At the start you look the city and music
The step mom has a chubby husband who likes to play boowls in the garden
His wife ( the step mom) shouts HUSBAD HUSBAND he has a shock and hits the ball and it hits the bird.
Cinderella appears to have thick blond curlly hair who lives in a dark room and looks scared and she irons.
At 1 part of the movie the step sister acusses cinderella of stealing her ham she says I had some ham hanging and you stole it and she runns away crying (the step sister runs away crying)
They have a old buttler. The door bell rings and he takes ages to answer the door and a odd looking guy gives his the scrool about the ball. At 1 point the stepmotheres husband is in the tub its silly
A other part of the film the 1 sister shouts MOMAR and the step mom replys what and the other sister yell MOMAR and the step mom replys YES

Hi guys you've probably heard this a lot but I really want to be an actress and I mean it.I act every the time,it's like my drug that keeps me alive.I always feel so sick and unhappy but when i act that feeling goes away .i have so much passion for acting and I would really adore to take it up as a career.The problem is I'm only 12 and I live in a tiny town in northamptonshire so it's difficult to do anything acting wise as my options are very limited.I was wondering if there were maybe any auditions for a tv series or a film anywhere close this place.What are your tips for me to pursue an acting career , how can I receive better at acting.I'm very interested in drama and horror i would like to play a character that has a mental issue or is just troubled .What advice would you give me? My biggest inspirations are Robert de Niro and Leonardo DiCaprio I know they're men but i adore their acting style i like meryl streep also.
How do i go about doing this? What are the odds that i'll make it? Where do I start please help

@manny thank you I understand what you're saying but this is what i really want to do with my life and I won't not do it (if that makes sense) just because money could be an issue to be quite honest I don't care about money as long as i 'd have enough for bills food and water then i don't need any more.

For a French project, we must make an ad of a charity related thing, so my group decided to pick the blossom site "telefora.com" which sponsors ASPCA with part of the money earned from each bouquet bought by a customer. The Ad is going to be Valentine themed. The project is due monday, so I need quick but chilly ideas making ads, for example, filming my hand, which is drawing things out, and put it on quick forward speed with imovie. It has to be in the form of a TV ad.

I am trying to watch a film on my laptop but want to view it on the TV which is no problem as i can connect it by vga cable but i also want the sound to arrive from the tv instead of laptop i have a jack to jack cable which i use to use on my other laptop (samsung R519) and that worked perfect. as i now have a new laptop (acer 5733) its the first time in me tryting to do this i can receive the display no probs but the sound dont arrive out of tv when i plug the jack to jack cable into the laptop and tv i receive no sound i can hear to the sound from my laptop but its not that noisy to watch a film. does anyone know how i do this i think your ment to change something in the realtek audio manager but i have looked and looked and cant do it. it seems to work on any other laptop fine apart from this aver 5733 and i know nothing has been removed or corrupt as it is a new laptop please help someone out there must have some idea.i cant connect hdmi cable to my laptop well shouldnt have to when i have the equipment.

There is a tranchula in the video and towards the end, some one is dressed up in a tranchula costume and playing guitar. I think it's a newer band because I have only seen the video on the TVs at the gym. I think they film part of the music video in a grocery store as well. The singer does a chilly "high-low" thing with his voice while saying the word "I". I know this is so vague, but it's driving me nuts and I need to know the bands name! Someone help!!

Are pvr's even supposed to connect to the web in such a way or do they just connect to certain providers such as i-player, adore film BBC i-player to play programs.
I think a tiny nettop (HTPC) is more suited to his needs.

I'm not sure if this is a film or from an episode of a TV show but i have a memory of a scene where a girl was staying with her male pal down the road i think. there was a really bad storm and a lot of places got flooded. The girl had gone home in the rain to check on her little brothers. None of them were in their beds as they should have been and her mom was missing as well. When she was going around the garden looking for them she saw that the basement was locked and flooded and she found her mom and brothers inside. Anyone any ideas what this is?

Hello, i am unsure of what television to buy. I am debating between the Samsung PS51D550 and Panasonic Viera Tx-P50St30B. I would like to know which one will offer the best quality for gaming on my xbox and films for my blu ray and sound for my surround sound and which offers better feautures and better specifications. I am open to debate and would not mind hearing some alternative televisions to buy in the similar price range. I am looking for a minimum of a 50 inch tv for around £700 max. Mainly interested in good picture for watching standard television, if it offers hd channels and would i have to buy anything extra to watch freeview hd, the easiest to use, how easy it is to connect my samsung surround sound too, what extras the television offer.
Sorry if im going on would just like to basically know the best 50 inch tv minimum i can receive for £700 max, im tempted to receive the samsung but the panasonic has better specs? please help i am open to debate for any tv aslong as its good in every departments

Old Horror Movie, probably TV-film?
I'm trying to remember the name of a movie that had a Pet Sematary air about it. I saw this movie on TV as a kid in the tardy eighties, and couldn't ever forget the final scene of it. It had a 70ies/60ies air to it, but I can't remember much about it out of it having (in my memory) also a Pet Sematary air to it.
The only thing I remember is that when it finishes, (I think the protagonist loses his whole family or some final outcome in that order) the protagonist goes out of the cemetery and in a fit of rage, he smashes the windows of the cars parked outside the cemetery with a wrench, one by one.
This must be one of the movies that impressed me the most as a kid. =D

i have recently brought a pair of wireless headphones that i have set up to my vivo tv using the red white cables provided, i have no problem listening to tv or to dvd ( which is set up through my tv) .. my question is i watch most shows through a difficult steer i connect with a usb to the tv, but i cant seem to use the wireless headphones to hear the audio from the difficult steer shows and films etc?? does anyone know why this is as i assume its using the tv audio ??? any help would be Great???

Hey i've been having technical problems on Stardom: A List. I can go to any other place except the main home neighborhood. This is frustrating because I can't go to Arnies office to receive the script for movies or tv shows. Whenever I try to scroll down the road it won't let me and I can't go anywhere in the neighborhood other than my home and places you have to pay to travel to. I am currently a D List but I am afraid that if I can't go to Arnies office I won't be able to film movies or hows and my fan base will shrink. Please help! Thanks (:

When I was single I was so lonely, I was desperate for a boyfriend and never met the right guy until I met the guy I'm with now (and still going strong 4 years later)
But sometimes I look at films and TV and every the exciting things single people receive up to eg. having crushes, flirting, having a little fling, feeling that rush... But every I remember about being single was feeling anxious around boys every the time!!
Am I missing out? I mean sure, I have a companion who i adore and who loves me, who I can snuggle up with and every that... but isn't the single life really exciting? Does it make you feel sexy and fun?
My boyfriend still fancies me and I still look after my appearance and receive male attention... but sometimes I worry that I'm missing out on every that flirting!! No?

I watched Birdsong last week and found it so moving and beautiful. I kinda fell in adore with Eddie Redmayne (or maybe his character in the story) and have been obsessed with since. I can't cease fantasising about this epic adore story and its made me wish I had a more exciting adore life than what I have with my boyfriend of 4 years. I don't even think Eddie Redmayne is that attractive, but there's something about him in Birdsong that made me feel like "I want that nice of adore!"
Has anyone else had these feelings before about celebrities/films? Surely it just completely stupid and unrealistic... real adore isn't like it is on TV!!

When I was a child in 70's, I watched a movie on TV. The story was a young blonde girl became alive again on Halloween night and fell in adore with a guy. The whole film was full with oldies songs and it was more like a romance film than horror film. Can someone tell me the name of the movie? Thanks in advance.

my aunt had stolen some valuable family VHS tapes of me and her son my sister and her eldest son and we just got them back after about 17 years and we are checking them every i keep telling my mom it might be the tv but she refuses to believe that and i wouldnt blame her because my aunt never stored them in a good place she always stored them underneath the home the film wont show when it plays the only thing we hear is audio when it plays and the screen is black. are these videos completely destroyed or are they restorable? i would really like to know becuase these tapes mean alot to me as a preservation of my child hood. is there at least any wish -_-

I had someone jokingly tell me back in the 70's, 80's & early 90's you saw a lot of dark skinned women and light skin men on tv, music videos, and film, its kinda true I can name truck loads of dark and light black actors and models from those decades when i think of it I like watching vintage film and music. Hell even Playboy has had more dark skinned women than BET LOL. Do you remember Fred Williamson ladies "The Hammer" or Judy Pace Gentlemen?..

I have about $4,000 saved up so far but I know I need a lot more to live out there, I want to live there because its the best move towards my career. AND NO NOT TO BE AN Actor, however I would like to work behind the scenes of the TV/Film industry and I do have a back up plan if that doesnt happen since competition is FIERCE, but I still wont give up.
However when I leave for school in the Fall for August they dont have any dorms, I would like to room with some people, and eventually when I receive a job have my possess apartment maybe a studio apartment since I will be single for a VERY long time!

I am a JR at a Illinois public state university. I hate my University and really want to transfer. I want to study media and film studies because that is what interest me. I like to study the history, affect, and development of tv and film and go on to work as a media relations expert, media researcher, casting agent, or a critic. I also adore to write. I like to have good conversations with people about politics, the media, world and other things. I like to read and attend lectures. That's something about me.
So I go to a state school that I hate.
EXAMPLES OF PEOPLE HERE......
-I came here because they do on site admissions at my high school
-Its close to home and my baby mama needs me
-I couldn't make it at.....(then inserts a better college)
-I am a Mass Comm major because my coach said I only have one year left to play and I need to receive out of here.
-every my high school friends go here
-My mom, aunt, sister, dad....works here
-I heard it was easy so I came here
I am a Mass Comm major and every the classes revolve around working a camera and how to use one. That is not what I want to do and my instructors (b/c 80 percent are not professors because they do not have the proper degrees) say O well that's every the field is.....well I do not want that just cameras!. I am from Chicago and went to a preparatory every girls school. I really take my education serious and use to being around every types of people.I had a professor tell me that I do not fit here and gave me a list of schools to look into. Wellesley is One that caught my eye.
SO first I want to know
1.What is it like?
2. Is it diverse
3. How is the cinema and media studies program
4. WILL IT receive ME INTO A GOOD GRADUATESCHOOL
WILL I receive IN
OVERALL GPA 3.3 two times dean list
and I am a minority (if it matters)
I really want to know what nice of fin aid they give I have an EFC of 0
and is it urban, rural, .....?

I'm 19 years old and I really want to start acting in film/tv. I took an acting class at the Young Actors Studio in Hollywood and when I'm acting a scene, I'm always wondering what the audience is thinking of me and I never really receive into the character I'm trying to play. Also, instead of getting into character and thinking what I should say, my mind is always focused on the audience and what they are thinking of my acting. I just wish I can cease thinking of what the audience is thinking and just focus on the scene I'm trying to act. Is this because I'm shy or is it because it is my first time taking an acting class and doing improv. I feel this is holding me back from my passion of acting. I really want to learn as much as possible to be acting in movies someday. Do you guys think I should take private lessons. The reason I think private lessons would work great for me is because there is no audience I have to be always focused on and I can just focus on improving my acting skills. Also, I think private classes would lift my self confidence because I'll actually be improving my acting and not worrying about anything else. What do you guys think? Thank you.
